I have been looking at this coin also. While I do not see much wear, it does not seem to have strong detail. I also feel that there is a rub/cleaning mark above Liberty on the obverse... AU55

Thoughts: -Genuine. -Undamaged. -Die #4, but later die stage strike. -The "woody" effect, in my opinion, disguises the wear and the detail. You have to examine it carefully. -Pleasing to the eye if you like "woodies". -cleaned? Perhaps - a number of their Trade dollars and other coins show signs of being rubbed or cleaned. -grade? I'll leave that to someone else. |

I agree with Thad, must show a closer mint mark otherwise, high AU
