The coin almost looks like a Proof, but I am suspicious. I have seen photos like this used by Internet sellers that make the coin look far smoother and nicer than it is. I would not place a premium bid based on this photo.

I bought the coin but it looks just as great with more luster in person. Less of the orange tone. No hairlines or anything.

Also I was looking at other 1936 proofs and saw that some of them also have two of the sun rays not as defined. Seems like an overpolishing of the die.

I really don't think that's a scratch , but if it is, It's insignificant in my opinion .
