I would love to know what condition this would qualify as. I found it in my drawer (Im a cashier)it came from a roll of pennies. Sadly there is no mint mark but it looks really good to me at least.  *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

 to the family! Yea, too bad didn't have the S mintmark on back below ribbon, woulda been a semi key date! Nice find, sounds like you have a good source to scope out change. Look for silver coins, wheat pennies, even foreign coins too. The bills too if you get a chance, learn how to spot the older ones by the seal colors. Tried to get my daughter to do this at her cashiers job. Grade on coin is EF35 or even XF 40, someone cashed in grandpa's collection looks like

Any idea on potential worth? I know without the mint mark its not much, I dont intend to get rid of it just curious now

 Nice find from a roll, even without mintmark. Probably grades VF-30 or so. There are minor marks and some small scratches on the cheek, but no serious problems. Congrats!

Too bad it wasn't an 08S. It is a solid VF + maybe an xf40 on a good day, it has good details and almost 4 diamonds. Sadly the 1908 P is common and worth only about $5-$10 in the condition it sits.

Four diamonds gives it AU sharpness even if the color doesn't merit it. EF-45 at worst, nice score.  to the CCF!

Agree with The Frog. Ribbon separated from the curl and nice diamond detail XF-45. if it had a better strike on the headdress I would have called it AU. Awesome find!
