No offense, but the "windows" on all these notes look like they were rescued after a fire.

If only they would make Canada 150 commemorative banknotes for all denominations, just like the 1967 Canadian Centennial banknote set.

Is there a way to get this note in uncirculated condition, or do you just have to hope to get a circulated one from the normal money supply?
I am guessing banks won't have these lying around, and if they did they'll likely be circulated anyway.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

kinggeorge, this is where having a relationship with your tellers helps. when the commemorative $20 came out these were sent in stacks to most banks, my RBC said they were even labelled. so I was able to get one off a fresh one.

The only thing I can suggest since I don't think you will find very many ATMs spitting these out is to visit your Bank branch and put in a request well in advance of the release. Drat! ace_ftw beat me to the punch. Another option is to visit a Casino and ask the teller to pull some of the notes for you. I get a lot of new prefixes and high and low numbers from the ones I occasionally visit.

Quote: Wow , what a busy piece of garbage! That note is bark ugly in my not so humble opinion. that reverse looks like the cover of a travel brochure. The whole thing makes me think NCLT for banknotes. Although, like Proof Nut, I do appreciate the return of the Coat of Arms. She's actually the 4th woman depicted on the obverse of a BoC note. 1935 $2 note - Queen Mary 1935 $10 note - Princess Mary 1935 $20 note - Princess Elizabeth (now Queen Elizabeth II) 1935 $25 Commemorative - Queen Mary w/King George V 1954 to present - Queen Elizabeth II http://www.bankofcanadamuseum.ca/co...irst-series/Of course if you meant Canadian woman ... then, nevermind Quote: If only they would make Canada 150 commemorative banknotes for all denominations, just like the 1967 Canadian Centennial banknote set. Only one bank I went to had them but all the others say they will have them by next week.
There was a limit of ten and the prefix I got was CDB.
