canadiancoinaholic Valued Member Canada 137 Posts	Posted 06/16/2017 4:52 pm I didn't see any posts about the height of the bank notes but in the bundle that I got about a dozen notes are about a millimeter higher than the rest. You can see it if you stand your stack so they are upright . Anyone know the reason for this? Report this Post to the Staff

When I asked the teller how many they had she asked her supervisor and the reply was "thousands". I kept three of the nicest consecutives, then traded 40 for 100's at another bank. I'll put the three next to the 30 1867-1967 notes untouched in the TD Bank envelope since I bought them 50 years ago as a reminder of how much they are likely to increase in value in the next 50 years. Considering inflation the 1967 notes are worth only a fraction of the $30 I paid for them.
