hi all,
New to this site. did a little roll searching years ago and loved it, but had to take a break. Lucky for me I once again have the time to start it up and am very excited. My wife picked this coin up at the bank she worked at years ago and have had it in my closet till I had the chance to get back into things. Can anyone share their knowledge on these coins. From my research it looks as though there are many missing clads on the State Quarters but I'm sure just as many forgeries. Do you think this is legit and a keeper? If so would it be a rare or common variety. Any and all help would be great. Weight is 4.5 grams

It looks like it to me, seems to have the right sheen on the reverse , but I'm sure more knowledgeable folks will chime in. Would be nice to see it out of the plastic

I'm no expert , but I think a certified coin like this commands a pretty nice premium. I'm sure one of the things is when you move it around in the light , the sheen pinwheels around the coin . Hopefully the experts drop by

You should weigh it. If it is a missing clad it should weigh around 4.67 grams. If it is around 5.67 grams it is not a missing clad.
