That's not a seeded roll . Those two coins are far too nice to be seeded . Ayojustin , A seeded roll is a roll of coins put together by the seller putting common date ones in the middle and a better coin on each end to make it look like there are real nice coins in his rolls to entice buyers .

That's gotta be s collection dumped source, NO WAY are two key dates of two series in one roll. I dealt with some folks when on my Wheat cent bulk purchase binge a few years ago that had years before when their kids were young had "invested" in the purchasing of whole collections. They would then strip the coins from any media and dump in a common 55 gallon drum. This included all the key and semi-key dates, everything went making what was pulled out to sell in a poundage form of bulk extremely unsearched. Now of course, the prices were atrocious by any means, but, if you're a risk taker, you just may pull the lever. I did on two separate offers, one VERY good, nice coins 2 semi-key Wheats other was fair, nice coins varied mix, small amount of repeats. Was going for a third time, they closed down. This venture put both kids through college, they thanked their loyal customers and went off into the sunset, darn!

Never after that have I found a consistent source for bulk wheat cents. All are p*** poor in selection, absolutely NO key or even semi-keys have surfaced in the bulk purchasing (including rolls)of over 35,000 Wheat cents. Now, I've never been stupid enough to buy, er, have never bought any "stuffed enders" to comment on those...

Rest in Peace

Wow, you certainly beat the odds on this. All the feedback for this seller is typical for a so called unsearched roll peddler. Out of curiosity, why haven't you left feedback for this auction and purchased more rolls based on your results?

That's interesting, considering those boxes weren't around in the '50s.

or '60s or '70s, for that matter.

Aye! Fioti! you're starting to sound like me!

I've bought a few of the so-called unsearched rolls and haven't found anything even close to yours. Did you get more than one roll and did others pan out as well?

When I buy rolls these days I usually look for OBW rolls that really do look original, hoping to find varieties or errors. I've found a few interesting coins but it is slow going.

Congrats to you! Here's a dancing carrot!

People will complain about crappy rolls so when a few customers hit the jackpot they will hopefully leave really, really good feedback which can help sales.

Yes, those String&Son boxes weren't around back then.

No item number, no seller name...
