Found this in my pocket change and was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of error this is, rarity,and approximate value. Thanks( it has deep indention at the tail area)

The only thing I can see on the obverse is a small line (can't get in pic) running out from Washington's mouth that appears to match up to one side of the dimple on reverse, also noticed an odd shadow between the rim and the word DOLLAR. Thanks

You're going to need to experiment with your lighting some. Good pics are needed for accurate evaluations. One light source is recommended. Try a low light from different directions.

A little practice and you'll do fine. There is a photography forum on here. If you want to check it out go to the top of the page and click All Forums. They can give you some tips for your phone.

Looks like a struck through debris issue on the reverse. (weight of the coin should be normal)
