Quote: I'm hoping this is the $99 silver dollar proof set. It's released around April in past years. Quote: Canada 150: Our Home and Native Land with coloured Red Silver Dollar - 25,000 mintage - $99.95 @wildflowerAB: It looks like you got your wish! I'm shocked that the RCM is offering a proof set with all of its coins struck on silver planchets for $99.95! It's a bit of good news! It does raise the question, however, if they can do it for this set, why have they been charging so much more for the other all-silver sets. @MoneyPenny: Are there two sets being offered? One with all silver coins and one with standard composition coins (except for the silver dollar).

Quote: Don't think they are. I believe only the silver dollar is silver in this set. OK, that makes sense. It would appear that the early ebay listing was in error (it listed all of the lower denomination coins as being struck in silver) - the listing has been updated to remove such specifications and its price has been lowered to reflect the actual base metal coins it includes. The lower-priced set, for this SD collector, is much more palatable!

The ultra high relief coloured dragon coin is actually very nice but price prohibitive as always.
I like the design very much.

The Dragon is nice! The RED 150 on the other hand... you need to be a serious collector to like that one.

Quote: The RED 150 on the other hand... you need to be a serious collector to like that one. I'm definitely hoping that the red is a bit less "neon" on the actual coin. The base design is OK and the new micro maple leafs in the background that form an underlying spherical globe add a level of interest not seen in other versions of the design. The jury's out, however, until I examine the coin in hand when my set arrives.

The Masters coin and other new ones are on RCM now. At least for the Masters club members. I didn't check today so I am not sure whether they were already up earlier or not. For info. Dave

I wonder why the MC Exclusive coin is available at dealers so soon. I thought those coins are available only to MC members and can't be sold to the public until 45 days after release. Yet another contradiction in RCM policies.

Rep noted several coins they expect to sell out including the two 3 coin sets, the MC exclusive and the Dragon Boat festival. Speaking of the latter, it is very similar to the 2016 Dragon Dance $8 with some obvious differences. I know if I bought the 2017, I'd have to have the 2016 (which I do) lol.

@Bigchip22 Dealers are MC members at the "MINT"....The RCM "Mint. I have never heard of "NINT" ALSO, these dealers will only offer these MC coins to their VIP members and not the general public. Its a big "thank you" for your business.
