This 1942D dime has been in my collection from the very beginning. When I started showing an interest in coins, my parents gave me a tobacco tin full of various foreign coins they'd had left over from previous trips. This was one of the coins in that tin, and I suspect that they got it in change in Panama where they stopped on a sea crossing from New Zealand to the UK in the early 1950s.

That was not to say what you have is not impressive, just that Carl has like ten or twenty Mercury dime albums and only a few are not full yet.

@DualBrain and SilverDon,

The clashes is not what I was trying to point out, but the raise polish lines is really strong on the one if only I was able to have better pictures.

My extra's are piling up so it may be time to start another Album. I have 10 completely full and two only missing the 16D and piles of 2x2's of the extra's. Just sort of afraid to start a 13th since 13 is not a great number to use. Might just start a 13th and 14th just to play safe. Only #1 and #2 have the 18S not as a FSB yet.

Hey! Do not tell Bobby that 13 is a bad number.

However, I like your thinking. Why start one when you can start two for twice the price?
