Hi all,

I am really interested in starting this as a hobby... and I am finding it hard to find a supplier in Malta, there is A used one for sale tho.... the md-9020c, I tried to research some info and I saw some negative feedback.

What do you think ? Is it good to start with? Anyone with first hand experience?

Regards,

David

I don't know about anyone else but I'd recommend a Garrett. Something in the ACE series is what I started with and I am very happy. I purchased my ACE 300 from Amazon and had no problems with the purchase. I don't know how Amazon works in Malta but that's my suggestion. Good luck.

Go and check out White's [Electronics].

They are my favorite.

The biggest seller today is the Garrett AT Pro, also used by the guys on the Nat Geo show "Diggers".
