Two 1967 Half Dollars With Doubling? New Photos Added!

Image with 'IN GOD' or 'WE TRUST'. That will help us see better what is going on that you see on your coin.

That looks like machine damage to the coin after the strike altering the coins devices. Note on each example, the devices are not enlarged like the images I Posted above? When they are reduced. When the are reduced, they were normal size and now they are even smaller because of the damage:

Note the center one? It is a normal strike. The one on the left is showing the reduction of the die by the dies damaging the devices. But the example on the right shows what it would look like it the device was enlarged by hub doubling. So you have a coin struck with a normal die, that has MD on it reducing the devices.

And just when you figure it out, then something new comes in that changes the rules even more.
