1971 D Ike Dollar. DDR?

I think there is some thickness to the Reverse of an Ike dollar I bought. I compared it to another 1971 D and have come to think there might be doubling on E. Pluribus Unum, feathers (especially the longer ones), the initials, and possibly on other lettering. The 1st full coin that seems darker is the coin I think has some extra thickness here and there.

Can't really help without better pictures. The glare is very overpowering.
