Hi all you banknote collectors, just wondering if anyone has a list of the prefixes for the new 10 note. I am trying to get the whole set completed. So far I know CDA,CDB,CDC

We should expect same number of prefixes as the 2015 $20, so 4 prefixes CDA, CDB, CDC & CDD

Print run is same size

Personally I wish they made CDN, they missed out on that opportunity

I stopped at my bank today and surprisingly, was able to get a few, prefix CDA, Central Alberta. Just curious, has anyone seen any of these in the wild? The bank teller told me there's not enough to circulate like ordinary banknotes, only upon specific request are they given but "lots of people are asking for them".

Central/Eastern Ontario. I have CDA, CDB, CDC in my possession.

I bent one by mistake so it's most likely going into the wild.

Don't worry, you'll see them in circulation soon enough, might not be as fast/soon as the 2015 $20 Historic Reign notes but soon enough

The prefixes for the new "150" $10 note are:
CDA ; CDB ; CDC ; CDD ; CDE & CDF

40,000,000 notes with 6 prefixes. Many notes missing in each of the first 5. CDF is listed to go to 3.2 M so it is the shortest (& scarcest( prefix of the six.

Been at these in mb/sk since they came out, spent 2 bundles cda, 1 cdb, 1 cdd, kept part bundles, hardly seen cdc and no cdf, cdes average 5 per bundle, most are circ, have one unc radar and 1 circ. Radar, the ones I see now have folds in them, been busy and havent looked for about 3 weeks.

I searched half-bricks (5 bundles) when they first came out & inconsistently in the fall up to January 2018. Only got 5 bundles of CDA once. Many bundles had missing # or runs of consecutive # and I missed finding radars too many times (I will post an image in another thread). Although the commemorative tens were given extra scrutiny (compared to regular issue) I suspect most special #, million, low # & radars will all demand significant premiums once the dust settles.
