It's interesting that most guesses were way over.

I believe they made novelty 1964 Kennedy medals that were 3 inches in size and 2.7 to 3.0 oz in weight, hence lots of guesses in 70's.

That's what this is. It is the same diameter as the cent from my first contest but happens to be lighter. I don't know, maybe it's made of zinc.

@Hello There

You're a tad late but, there's still another round to go!

AW, MAN! I just knew I had the weight close. I've had.one of those replicas for decades but I didn't weigh it.

Congrats to the winner and to spruett on the milestone. Lotsa fun

Question: Am I allowed to join for Phase 2 even if I did not participate in Phase 1?

Okay contestants, Phase 2 will be the same as Phase 1 but with a different "coin". Your job is to guess the weight of it.

Phase 2:

Rules:

- Contest is open to all members from all countries.

- The first member guessing closest to the actual weight to 1/10 of a gram is the winner. The next closest is the Runner-up.

- Guesses must be in increments of 1/10 of a gram (guesses made in 1/100g will be rounded).

- You have one opportunity to correct a duplicate guess.

- Each member has two guesses. You can make them both in one post or separately.

- Phase 1 winners are not eligible for Phase 2.

- Phase 2 ends at Midnight ET (forum time) on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at which time guessing is closed. Winners will be announced shortly afterward.

Prizes:

The winner will select first from the available prizes below. The Runner-up will receive the remaining prize. Note: the proof dimes, nickels or cents I mentioned in Page 3 are still options if you'd prefer.

If someone guesses exactly to 1/10g, they will receive a bonus surprise!
