Hello all, I have a question about this coin I got for scrap from a local dealer, does the clip carry any premium?

That's pretty good - even with the slight clip it shows the Blakesley effect opposite from it.

To a US collector maybe there's a premium.
Experience tells me that there are a LOT fewer errors on GB&BC coins.
But experience also tells me that GB&BC collectors are not into errors as much as US collectors.

It's a minor clip, generally this coin has no eye appeal, thus small premium over melt

I would estimate between 5 and 7 times melt. Tough to find in 50 cent coins.

My gut thought was about $40. In line with what nickelsguy said. It is indeed tough to find clips on 50c pieces.

I don't recall ever seeing a 50c clip on this forum.
