Nero is one of the most famous (or infamous) Roman emperors. Besides being one of the "Twelve Caesars", he particularly earned the ire of later historians by being the first emperor to actively persecute the Christians.
As such, coins of Nero are quite popular, and usually worth more than equally rare coins from one of the less-well-known emperors. Which also means, of course, that coins of Nero are more likely to be faked.
