I think you're right. The bottom one looks like the proof reverse die to me. I cant really tell on the top coin from the picture. The D MM is more scarce than the P. Which are these?

You have the coins in hand,so study those links and the photos in the links and tell us if you have the 005 or the 006. Your pics prevent me from telling for sure,but they look like 005's to me from those pics. I could be wrong,it has happened once or twice in the past

After pulling out my magnifier and looking more closely, I don't guess there is a serif on that bottom G after all. Sorry. My eyes aren't what they used to be...
