Well, it did not arrive today.

Tracking still shows it arriving in Charlotte; it is usually handed to USPS from there. Delivery is still listed as Tuesday, I have to assume that is probably when I will get it.

No problem, I can wait.

Didn't even know about this set until a few days ago and it was sold out. I ended up checking back just now and it was available again. I wasn't going to get one, but I figured I might as well since it is a very nice looking set of coins.

Thanks for that UPS article MrP...I knew it had to be a recent thing. I bet my town just started with the Saturday thing and it's ironic since Amazon has been doing Sunday Prime deliveries here for quite a while.

Just a reference point for those who DO collect graded coins.

A four coin 2012 S Pres Dollar set (issue price $18.95) in PF 70 grade goes for $270-$300 (OGP coins sell for around $60)

..and the mintage was...1,486,680...way over a MILLION each

The total for this 10 coin set is 225,000 and will probably end up a tad less when the returns are tallied

Food for thought for both graded and raw sets..

I'm in a similar boat with my usual Smartpost facility. On almost all occasions when I've ordered from the mint, Fedex does not move Smartpost packages on weekends. Last time around, I had my package sit at the transfer Fedex facility from Friday morning until Monday morning, and then it arrived too late to go out with Monday's USPS mail. Even though I paid for "budget" shipping, I've mailed packages via First Class USPS across the country and they've arrived 3-4 times faster than Smartpost for half the cost. Why the mint doesn't just use the Postal Service for budget shipping is a head scratcher

I received my coins yesterday. Just opened the first set and it had 2 COAs in the package. That's better than none like I hear happens to people. The coins look nice! The Ozark quarter looks like it got more attention than any of the other ones. I hope this is a one and done type of set, but who knows with the mint and what they decide on future sets.

I got mine saturday, they nice looking coins, but US mint could have engrave something on the case that had the money, with 225th Anniversary Enhanced Uncirculated Coin Set on them. That would have been nicer.

Mine have been sitting in the FedEx Smartpost "prison" in Dallas since Friday. They originally estimated a delivery date this past Saturday then changed it to today ... Monday.

I checked both the FedEx and USPS tracking sites at noon and neither website seems to know where the package is at. Both give a "unable to track at this time" error message. Sounds like a software glitch between the systems.

I'm hoping that my local carrier has it on his truck and it magically shows up around 1:30 when he makes his rounds here in my 'hood!

We shall see!

As of right now, I have no idea. Seems we are in the same jail...

My tracking says "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later."

I have two orders, as I picked up some other stuff along with the enhanced set and paid for it, then decided to get another enhanced set. One order, which is through UPS is "out for delivery" the other through fedex states "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later." The first needs a signature for the package, I'm guessing that's why it went UPS.

You have to just keep entering your tracking number. Eventually it will give you the status. It says mine is scheduled to be delivered today. But, if history is any indication, it could well be tomorrow or Wednesday. I've learned to take everything I find on the FedEx site with the prerequisite grain of NaCl...

I received mine and the dime is rotated 90 degrees ccw. What is the smartest way for me to get a replacement? Should I exchange it or order another and return this one? Or sell this one on ebay as a "packaging error"
