1889 CC Found By A Friend.

I know this is a VERY OLD post, but since I didn't really ever see any real outcome of the post, I figured I would chime in. I also own an authentic 1889 CC, and the coin in question here is without question a fake. There were red flags in every photo of it. Aside from all the other tell-tale signs, the wobbly/wavy fonts of "AMERICA" on the reverse were DEAD GIVE-AWAYS as it being a fake 1889 CC. Just no way in heck it is authentic. I've closely scrutinized many real and counterfeit Morgans, and there is no doubt whatsoever this is another FAKE!
