The COINBERT one is fun.
But in all honesty, the is no negotiating whatsoever during coin shows?

There is plenty, but when it is not to your liking, you either accept it or move on.

I have been in that same spot more than once. Dealer would not budge. I moved on, did not find anything comparable at any of the other tables, then came back and paid what they wanted.

One time I felt lucky because when I came back someone in front of me was holding my coin! They were having the same conversation I had earlier! Luckily they moved along and I got what I wanted to own for more than I wanted to spend. I do not regret it though.

I guess I am even luckier these dealers did not raise their prices when I came back.

In Coinbert if I was the dealer

Sure I can change $100 (give back $45)

Hey I thought we agreed to $49!

The other six dollar charge was because you lied when you said that all the cash you had on you was $30.

The Coinbert comic was fantastic. Witnessed versions of that conversation more than once.

Counterfeits of the new silver dollar are already in circulation. Young Mikauber, who is always financially depressed, says the bogus coin may be easily detected. ''If I get a new dollar," he explains, ''it is counterfeit; if I don't get one, it is genuine." — Vorr. Herald.

The Brooklyn Union-Argus finds on the reverse side of the new silver dollar an " eagle in a spasm, as if it had been exposed two hours in an amateur shooting-match without being hit."— Worcester Press
