Hey community, what would you call this. The one on the date appears to have ghosted 45 degrees west. Or do you think it's some kind of struck through? Thx

I moved your post to the appropriate section for the proper attention. All Lincoln Cents are considered modern coins.
Rest in Peace

More than likely is a plating issue. The plated zincolns cents have MD problem w/ ghosting around letters and plating bubbles. This maybe a "linear plating bubble". These are formed when blanks are plated, debris, air trapped, causes CO 2 to act on the zinc and corrode underneath. "Zinc rot" forms, bye-bye to coin in a few years.

to the family!

To me it looks like an incuse mark from another coin that damaged the field in that area.
