learjet, I might have mislwed you. my camera is the Canon A590 IS. I read the post, and as in 99-44/100 of my posts, there typos! I have no focal point, and any adjacant letter is apt to be hit! I tried working the camera from memory, last night, and boy was it a disaster!. Back to the book! Thanks for your help.

Actually I may have been the 590 I looked up. I don't think there is a 690? Lol.

Anyway be sure to check SuperDave's thread. It's for the A720 but there will be similar features.

learjet, I have done better than that: I Made a print-out of the whole thread! Now we will have to wait for him to get off "grayyard, and work like normal people, so he can think, again. "Been there, done that". My favorite shift is swing, but I would prefer graveyard to days, ANYTIME!! He is plannint on starting a new thread, same topic, but with more info, I thimnk.
