scmoore61 Valued Member United States 487 Posts	Posted 05/08/2008 1:45 pm bought 465 rolls of wheat pennies @ 3 cents a piece. Most were rolled by date but one bag had 3000 in it and when I finished going through it I was down to needing 12 coins for a complete set. Some of the better finds were 2 UNC rolls of steal one unopened roll of 1957's 2 very fine 1926-S ( did you see heritage sold one of these in MS 65 for $170,000) 1910-S, 1914-s, 1911-S all of the S mints from 1916 up except the 1931-S . I have thought about going back and going through some of the rolls that were marked because when I was putting together the set I opened a roll of 1929'S to look for a better grade than what I had and 15 of them were 1909 Report this Post to the Staff
