I'll take a tentative pass until I figure out whether the coin that stands for "8th century" in my "one from each century" set is actually 8th century (there's some uncertainty).
...come to think of it, do Arab-Byzantines count as "pre-Umayyad"?

If a specific type of coin was made for many years in the seventh century, but also a few years into the eighth century, would that still count?

Here's another dirham coin from the Umayyad Caliphate: Supposedly, this was made in AH115 (733AD or 734AD), minted at Wasit (in Iraq), when Hisham was Caliph, just 1 or 2 years after the battle of Tours. Unfortunately, Arabic dates from this era are hard to read, since they are written out in words, so I have to rely on the dealer's description. Attribution: Wilkes 297, Album 137. This coin is "abundant", so we may see many more of these.

I think today is the last day? Last chance for anyone who has an Umayyad dinar to come steal the contest!
