I guess OP (Finn) wins this round? There weren't as many posted as predicted. P.S. I swear I'm gonna post a coin here eventually!

Finn or Arkie, I guess - it depends on whether, on points tie, "posted first" or "closer match" takes priority.
I think I actually do have some early Islamic coins, but they're all copper, and they're in such bad condition that I don't even know if they're Umayyad or Abbasid (never mind the caliph or date). Also I'd have to look for them, because I can't recall seeing them lately.

If it were my round, I would assign a half point for the closer match. Absent that, post first would take it.

I'll cede to Pepactonius if he wants to go again. If not, I have a good one that might rope in some more US collectors.

Didn't Arkie post the challenge this time?

I'll wait until tonight to see if Arkie or Pepactonius chime in. If not, then I'll post mine. Sound fair?

Also, it's not 100% clear if the date on my coin is really AH 115, although the first two digits may match those on your coin.

@Finn235 Quote: We've got a lot of specialists and a lot of generalists here. I think it would be fun to make a game where we get to challenge our fellow numismatists to procure matching examples of obscure coins we have in our collection!
This game is only about coins,right ? .. I'm missing something ?
