It's in my collection because I used to pull anything "old" from circulation. I remember once, when I was around nine (late 90's, I paid my mom $50 for a 1963 $50 bill. That was basically all the money I had at the time. I must have recently had a birthday or something.

The closest I have is worth 3 points (US, $10, small portrait), but don't have any pics of it. Is it legal to shot pics of US currency these days?

Curveball! Still got nothin'...I'm not even sure I have a current $10 bill right now. Quote: Is it legal to shot pics of US currency these days? I assume so since they're posted on CCF all the time.

IIRC, one of the maybe two or three US bills in my collection is a $10 US star. I haven't seen it in a while, but I think it's either series 1993, 1995 or 1999 - as far as I can tell, the former two count as small portrait? I'll post it if I happen to get a hold of it in three days (I know where it is, but it's not in a place that I visit commonly.)

It would have to be paper currency. I actually had a ten on me until lunch yesterday. I broke a twenty for breakfast this morning and got... two fives. Oh well.

I'm surprised that more US collectors don't have any bills at all. I have one of each type small portrait that I pulled from circulation, and a star note or low serial of each, too. I figured if nothing else, my kids will appreciate them more than my bank account.
Also just a reminder that the denomination here is only worth a point. A series '63 star note of any denomination from New York could still take the lead!

However, I do not have them inventoried. I hate to admit that I have never really found notes that interesting. I am going to take a look tonight. Who knows what I might find.

What would you post it if you do win? Depending on your answer, I might have to make sure that it happens.

Although it is only worth two points, this is the closest thing I have: There is no reason in particular as to why this note is in my collection; I just collect things by type, and this is my only example.
