Am I understanding correctly that I should post an error coin and identify the errors on that coin as well as the challenge coin?

Ok, I am back... On the obverse, the three dots in the forehead are a die crack, two dots above the ear appear to be a die gouge, the dot above the eye and at the mouth are die chips, and the dot at the B in Liberty looks to be strike/machine doubling. On the reverse, the dots on the rim are either a mis-aligned die, or a very minor off center strike. The last three dots again refer to Machine Doubling to my eyes.  Hopefully that should describe this dime... |

Here is an idea, I think... Post a coin with the simplest bare bones design as possible you can find, like a coin with just the denomination only, or a coin with just a bust/head, etc. An example: Syria (1941) 2-1/2 piastres in two languages and that's it...   10 points for just the denomination only, 10 points for just a feature only like a plant, animal, building, etc, 5 points for a bust/head only with denomination on the other side, 5 points for just a date only. Some of these features can be mixed or matched, like denomination on one side, and a simple bust on the other side. Or a date on one side and just the denomination on the other side. Might need to edit as needed |

I will start with this 1864 United States Two Cents. Not as simple as your example, but I always appreciated its lack of a bust image. Not sure how to score it though.   |
