I think they are beautiful coins, but I have to buy them from dealers. When through dealer's they can sell them 500 or more at a time..Logistically it wouldn't make any sense to try to make a dollar on one coin at a time, this would also interfere with their online sealed bullion coin program, where they charge at least 2-3 times silver value for a coin in a box. I'm not familiar with the online sealed bullion coin program, but I'm guessing it's like the US Mint selling Eagles for $45 with box & COA, when you can go to dealer and get a bare coin for $20... Petersun Pillar of the Community Canada 1700 Posts	Posted 08/26/2017 8:04 pm You are able to purchase silver maples with certain privy marks. However, they are far more expensive (they are sold at prices similar to commemorative one-ounce maples). The best way to explain the difference between bullion strikes and collectible strikes is through the US 5-ounce ATB silver coins. The bullion coins can only be purchased through dealers, whereas the "P" mint-mark collectible version is available online at about 2.5 times BV. I would just walk into a Bullion Exchange and get maple(s) on days when silver price is good. Report this Post to the Staff
