And Atlanta was up 17-0 at the half  that was painful to watch. I was tempted to pick Houston but I thought the game was going to be a lot closer than it was, they sure picked up the pace in the last quarter but it was too late. |

After a somewhat stunning string of 20 unanswered points by the Dolphins, the Falcons have lost along with a Cleveland loss... so both players are still alive to fight it out...

Very disappointing I thought the Browns were better than that.
Good game coming up next week: Cowboys vs the 49ers.

spaceace if it is ok with you I would like to make a conditional pick this week.
Following Mayflower2020: If SolarPenny takes the Dallas I will pick the 49ers. If not I will take the Saints over the packers.

That would be fine johntookit, but I kind of hope Solarpenny does not pick Dallas, because if that happens the contest is virtually guaranteed to be over this week (since only one of you could win that game...unless it ended in a tie game which is highly unlikely). I kind of want to see how far you can each go without a direct head to head this early.

Alright johntookit, I am still regretting not taking Houston last week, that Atlanta loss really decreased my dependence to look at the vegas odds before making a pick. I will take Dallas this week, even if they lose at least I will be able to find solace in the fact that it will help the eagles make the playoffs this year. Good luck!

I just wonder, why play if you don't want to win. In a limited contest like this especially. Let that spot go to someone who will take it seriously.

Just want to clarify things.
In 4th annual when It was heads up I wanted to end the game as soon as possible with no other reasons. nothing changed.
If any game was that predictable I would take a large sums of money to LV and bet to win 20 cents on a dollar. Why work.
It is a game to have fun. I have more fun playing 10-2 off suite in a no-limit cash game than just waiting for premium hands. I do quite well.
I'm getting ready to head up to the poker room to watch the game (Seattle vs giants) and look up the scores of the 49er game.
