Started to receive some of the prizes late last week and a few more came today!

From SilverDon, some really nice silver quarters, was having a hard time taking a picture of the 1968 because of how reflective it is! I have a few 1968 silver quarters but they were heavily circulated, nowhere near that condition. The 1966 PL-66 is also a beauty. I am extremely tempted to take out the glow in the dark toonie so I can finally fill the last spot in the 2017 My Canada My Inspiration coin holder but for now I will leave it in the display case for a bit longer. Thank you very much!

From TNG, a 1983 Vatican City Pope Paul II silver clad medal commemorating his visit to Poland. This medal has some pretty intense doubling on both the obverse and reverse which is really neat. Thanks TNG!

From spruett001, my first silver Mexican coin, a 1962 (0.100) silver peso, 1945P silver wartime US nickel, 1962 silver Roosevelt dime, and a 1977S proof Roosevelt dime. Thank you!

And from JC Stevens, a brand new 2017D and 2017P Lincoln Cent, and a 1966-2016 Colorado Spring Numismatic Society 50th Anniversary medal minted by Daniel Carr. The reverse has a 1916 Standing Liberty quarter and the obverse has a portrait of General William Jackson Palmer, the founder of Colorado Springs, really neat medal. Thanks JC Stevens!

Wow I came home yesterday and my mailbox was completely full. Had a lot of fun going through these packages last night!

The first one is from a fellow Eagles fan! I got your note with name on it but I was unable to match it to a screen name on CCF. A full set of 2015 America the Beautiful Quarters with the S mint mark. And my first PCGS graded coin, a 1976-S Kennedy half dollar in PR69! Thank you very much, go Eagles!

7th-Annual-CCF-NFL-Contest

Next one is from T1Steel, who seems to live where all the glow in the dark toonies are apparently, I still haven't seen one in circulation and he passed along two from a brand new roll! Also added in two 1982 Confederation Canadian dollars, both in far better shape than the one I had in my collection. Thank you!

From loonielwy, a funny note to go along with the prize. He mentioned the theme of the prize is "You can't have one without the other". Two colored mens hockey quarters, a "raised 2" variety and "incused 2" variety. A 2011 tooth fairy quarter (I really like these commemorative quarters and have a fair number of them but haven't gotten this one yet). A double sided heads quarter and a double sided tails quarter. These are really neat, I haven't seen them before. I tried to take a picture of them in the mirror to show both sides but it was difficult to get it to focus. And he said because of his screen name he felt like he couldn't give me only quarters and was obligated to include a loonie as well so there was also a 2001 minty NII loonie. Thank you very much!

From Coin197, a whole mix of Buffalo nickels. There is a 1924, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1929D, and 1936D. Out of those 6, 5 are new dates for my collection and the 1929 is a definite upgrade to the one I already had. My Whitman book looks a lot less empty now! There was also a 2016D Ronald Reagan Presidential dollar (it has been a long time since I last saw one of these, took me a while to remember where to find the mint mark). Thank you!

7th-Annual-CCF-NFL-Contest

From jamiep, a really nice 1921 Morgan silver dollar in a Harris case! The only other Morgan dollar I have is an 1891-O and I never realized how rough it was until I put it side by side with this 1921, definitely a good looking coin! Thanks!

7th-Annual-CCF-NFL-Contest

The next one I am not able to match to a screen name either. Two 2017 United States Uncirculated sets, one from Philadelphia and one from Denver. These sets are really nice. I am usually a year or two behind collecting US decimal just because it takes a while for some change to make it north of the border and I don't make it south of the border too often. Feels really good to have a complete set of 2017 coins with both D and P mintmarks in far better shape than I would ever find in circulation. Thank you very much!

7th-Annual-CCF-NFL-Contest

And the last package in my mailbox was from johntookit, who also gave me the CCF football trophy! There was a 2016 Canada $25 colored silver coin with a polar bear and beaver. There was a US proof set from 1961 from the Philadelphia mint, the nickel has cool toning going on with it and the silver coins look awesome. The was also an uncirculated 1971S uncirculated silver dollar. I've never actually seen one of these before, I thought they were all copper-nickel but after looking this one up it looks like its actually 40% silver. And last but not least a 2013 Canada $3 Silver coin "Life in the North" another really nice coin! Thank you very much johntookit!

Nice haul so far. Glad to see the tooth fairy was not crushed by Can. Post.

Here is a challenge. What year is the double tails quarter? Shouldn't be too hard.

@SP, you should be receiving another package from your neighbors down south this week. Congrats again on the win!

The ATB Quarters and Kennedy half were from me. I guess you would've figured it out sooner or later, process of elimination. Hope you enjoy.

@ loonielewy, I believe the double sided tails quarter would be a 2002 since the date was on the obverse that year. The double sided heads quarter I am a little more unsure of, it has the P mark so I think it has to be between 2003-2006, I can't narrow it down any more than that. What is puzzling me even more is where you got these from, I tried looking online and couldn't find them anywhere, they are really neat!

@ SpaceMaNy0 thanks again for the sets! As tempting as it is to crack them open and store them by denomination with most of my other US coins I don't think I have it in me, they will be staying in the original packaging for quite some time at least.

@Bud250r thanks again for the Kennedy half and quarters. Eagles clinched the NFC East today with that nail biter against the Rams!

A few more packages came in the mail last week so I thought I would make another update here.

From Mayflower2020, a complete P & D set of the 2009 Lincoln cents to commemorate his 200th birthday. For each variety I was actually missing either the D or P mint mark so it feels nice to have the full set now! There was also a set of Liberty nickels from 1900-1912 which is going to fill a bunch of spots in my Whitman book as well as a few upgrades compared to the few I had. Plus there was a set of old Canadian pennies from 1940-1942, an UNC 1965 Canadian penny, a BU 2017 Stanley cup quarter and an UNC 2017D US cent. Thank you very much!

From our host spaceace a US 2017S proof nickel and dime and a 1952 .900 silver Washington - Carver half dollar (had to look this one up I hadn't seen one before). Really nice looking coins! I wasn't able to get the tape off the 2x2's without damaging them, I am going to try and transfer them over to some new ones soon although I am pretty nervous about getting any kind of marks on those proofs, they are in awesome shape. Thanks!

7th-Annual-CCF-NFL-Contest

From Wrestling_135 a 1907 Liberty nickel, a 1869 Shield nickel (my first Shield nickel), a 1943D Mercury dime (a nice upgrade to the one in my set), a 1971D Kennedy half, a 1919S Lincoln Cent (another hole filled), and 1928S Lincoln Cent (upgrade to the one I had). There is also a really nice looking Asian token, I think it is a year of the dragon commemorative but not completely sure on that. Thank you!

7th-Annual-CCF-NFL-Contest

From CLS12 a nice group of silver coins. There is a 1925 SLQ (just doubled the number of SLQ's I have!), a 1936 Washington quarter (new date for me), 1907 Barber dime, my first one of those, a 1964D Roosevelt dime (upgrade to the one I had), 1930 Mercury dime (new date), and a 1/4 oz silver round with a walking liberty reverse. Thank you very much!

7th-Annual-CCF-NFL-Contest

And from Spence there was a 1924S Lincoln Cent (new date) a 1912D Liberty nickel (new date), 1919S Lincoln Cent, 1929D Lincoln Cent (upgrade), a 1948 Lincoln Cent (definite upgrade), a 1663 Poland 1 Solidas coin (by far the oldest coin in my collection). There was also a 1946S Lincoln Cent with a lamination through Abes head, and a 1952D Lincoln Cent with a clipped planchet. There were two rolls of old Canadian cents, I quickly took a look through them it looks like they all range from 1933 - 1959, I will have some fun going through them more this week sometime. There was a 1982 .900 silver proof George Washington half dollar (have never seen one of those before). And last but not least an 1892 Barber dime graded MS-62 by NGC. This is my first NGC graded coin, second Barber dime and it is stunning how nice it is in hand! Thank you very much!

More great coins. This is a good contest to win.

2002 is correct, and so is the other one, though I can't confirm the exact dates. As to where they came from...
