my uncle took about 1000 dollars worth of change he throws into a jar at the end of each day to a coin star machine and I asked him if anything the machine does not take can I have it he said yes I was figuring I would get some canadian coins to add to my collection but I got some silver also.
here is what I got the pics are as good as they get with my camera. two 1964-d quarters,1964 dime,1956-d dime, 1917 Wheat penny, the canadian coins are 1995 dime,1973 dime,1873-1973 quarter,1972 quarter,2000 quarter with maple leaf on the reverse, and an 1867-1992 quarter with saskatchewan on the reverse
I have always wanted to ask people if I could go thru their coins before they dumped them into the Coinstar machine, but have never gotten up the nerve.
I just got 5 dimes, 2 nickels and 4 cents. All common from the 1990's and 2000's. Not sure why they were rejected, they didn't seem dinged up or anything
