Steve Bromberg lied when he the Voyageur were sold out everywhere in Canada and that they were selling for $900-$1000. The only place selling for $900 was his own company CC&C.

It's not the first time he's lied, and I doubt it will be the last.

I guess he's trying to balance out the potential losses on this series-
It's a beautiful set but overdone and over priced

I always look forward to Stephen's shows on the Shopping Channel. I don't always know when they are so I miss quite a number of them. I find them interesting but I think Bromberg's prices are too high. I've been to his store a couple of times and have bought a few items, but later on I found those same items at noticeably lower prices at other dealers.

I noticed that on the 10oz Superman Shield coin there was a ton of scratches on the top, maybe because he handled it so much.

I noticed that immediately. He did say it was a sample from the mint, so hopefully he doesn't sell that one.

It boggles the mind that he will put on white gloves to handle the 5kg silver coin so that he doesn't damage the coin, but does not hesitate to put a toonie right up against the surface for comparison purposes. If I had a heart condition, I think I'd be dead by now.

I have gotten one thing once from his show on the shopping channel, and it wasn't as great as I thought but right now I can't afford to buy any thing from anyone right now

When he did that I let out such a loud "Oh No!" that a family member came running into the room to see if I was ok.

lol

Well....at first I thought that Superman 10 ounce Shield was ugly and now after watching it on the Shopping Channel, with 6 easy pays, I decided to buy it. Please don't shoot me!! LOL

I have every single coin issued from the RCM Superman Series starting with all the 2013 series until now and I just could not say no, even to all that came in between, which Bromberg states that some issues were quite silly.

Now .... there is that new 2 ounce gold plated one left to get which looks so much like the 2 ounce gold plated one issued about 2 months ago to get and I am hoping that I will be able to get that somewhere down the road at a discount.

He did let it slip out that the mint provides him sample coins for the Big Show, kind of answer why he handles coins the way he does, these coins might not even be made out of real silver.

I PVR these shows just so I can skip the hyperbole and just look at the coins. Usually takes about 10 minutes to watch each hour long show.

@MoneyPenney

Thanks for the Coin Show info.

I really like that Murano Glass Reindeer coin. It's so colourful, and the reindeer is almost double the size of the glass angel on the 2016 Christmas coin.
