Quote: The 5Kg silver is being sold for $68 Canadian per ounce, only triple bullion. I wonder what another dealer would offer if it was sold to them? About $3500. I buy the 1kg Australian coins almost every year. I just got my 2018 Kookaburra and it was roughly 15% over spot...THAT is a premium percentage I can live with on a bullion coin!

Watched 2 hours of today's show. Almost every new coin except the Pysanka. Lots of older coins flogged. Like last years Colville big coins, polar bear sculpture, Dawn of Justice Superman/Batman.

@justsilver
I see that you could not resist the lure of the pysanka number 3! Mine are being shipped as of yesterday and cannot wait to add to my collection of 1, 2 and now 3. I really believe that this series will hold its value in the coming years.

Quote: I really believe that this series will hold its value in the coming years. If not the collectors or casual buyers (like Ukrainian people) bought this coin, but the re-sellers, and soon they will flood the ebay with it - the value will fail. Will be similar to the second coin.

What up with his 50 mint sets from the 60's for almost $2200.00? Goes on to say they are worth $43.00 a set, find that hard to digest. Lucky to get $25.00 on ebay minus fees. Long ways from the $43.00 he claims.

In his defense the 6-Coin Specimen Set - Burrowing Owl (2018) is $51.95 from the mint so I suppose he is doing some kind of comparison to that. I also find it hard to digest that the Burrowing Owl set is worth $51.95. At least some of the sets from the '60s had some silver in them.

Yes that group of 50 sets is one of the craziest offering I've seen and there have been many. Firstly, who would want 50 1963-1966 sets? Secondly, there's no way he didn't check varieties, they are not rare, some of them he showed were toned and they are being offered for significantly more than bullion and current retail prices. Despite CC&C pricing them at $55 each, they can be had for $25 from other dealers. 55.5 oz in the group so roughly $1,150 at spot today. The only premium value these might have is that the envelopes appeared to be in good shape. P.T. Barnum at his best. Noticed that he seems to be cutting back on air-time. Only two hours last night when a year or two ago, he would have had three or four. Sign of the times?

Steve says the TSC has 300 coin allocation for the Captain Canuck coin. Started the countdown at 222 coins. Had 179 coins left when he moved onto the next coin.
