Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks! Mid-AU with a rubber band "burn" mark on the reverse. Most likely it was still straight graded.

A very well struck coin. Hard to tell about the toning and the luster from the photo. To me it appears to be a choice MS Seated dollar. |

I won't offer a grade other than to say the pics aren't the greatest for this coin.

Never cleaned nor dipped, which in itself is miraculous. Very strong strike both obverse and reverse which is also scarce for this early date. Other than a single tiny black spot at the top right of shield on reverse which is so insignificant as to be without affect on either condition or grade, there is not a single other distractions worth consideration.
The monotone photo makes it very difficult to see any slide in the open fields, but there is some indication of same.
Extremely light note of high point rub.
It's an odd grade, but I'd go AU-58+.

That's a beauty. If it had little bit of luster I think it could go MS. AU range in my eyes

I would like to see this under different light. It sort of looks lifeless but I think it's the pics. 58 here.

This one is among the 4 finest first year LSDs graded by PCGS. None graded higher. Looked to me like there was beautiful uninterrupted luster throughout both sides of the coin. Nice call Everest.
