well . I think today after several hours studying the difference between MD,DD I finally konw the differece ... I am sure this 1963 d its a double die ... what do the experts see ?

I think I can see some doubling, but I'm not sure it's a doubled die variety. It looks like MD but hard to tell from the images.

I've blown the photos up to near billboard size and I'm not seeing anything other than the most minute die chatter, or MD.

We are rooting for you to find a DD but I don't think this is it.

i took some more pictures of the coin ... I know the pictures are not good enougth to see the separation ,,, the good knews is that in a few days ,i will have a microscope with ... I really enjoy hunting so I will work my butt to to know more about it ,... thank you all for your comments ... wiil see what I can find today !

What I am seeing looks flat, not rounded like the original devices. It also spreads in different directions like movement during the strike.
