Is there a high demand for current radar notes? I've acquired a few over the years but the only shop I've been able to sell them at has since closed. I was just wondering if there are many radar collectors and what premium they carry.

Check ebay.
I have sold radar notes there before. They should still be sought after....

I think demand is 'consistent', but not high. Lots of overpriced notes on ebay, so the market seems to weaken once sales resistance kicks in. Collectors want higher grades and scarcer notes, when they're spending money. The common notes seek their own level.

Radar notes are always collectible but like stated above - ebay BIN sellers ask way too much but the true auctions usually have bidders.

There is strong interest in solid radar notes like 2222222, 3333333, 4444444, 8888888, etc. but ebay BIN ask way too much for them. They ask amounts like $1200, $1300, $1500 for uncirculated ones when could get one for less than $1000 in auctions.

Also depends on how many numbers are in the radar.

As MoneyPenney mentioned, 1-number radars (aka solid digit) are the most highly sought after, followed by 2-number radars and so forth.

Radar market has slowed down considerably, especially for more common 3-4 digit ones. There are pockets of interest for two digit ones and commemorative issues.
