My daughter found this going through her quarters, steel-blue with golden rim and a slight pinkish hue on the cabin. Nothing too spectacular. I figured why not post it. (Couldn't find a "post your toned (whatever)" thread...)

I suspect heat treatment on this. I'm probably wrong but a cool find either way.

The obverse seems normal and if somebody went to the trouble of heating it seems like they'd keep it, but who knows. It was in a metal tin where my kid keeps her change and various world coins, so maybe there was some reaction in there. I put it in a 2x2 but I'd say the obverse is AU50 at best.

Sure. To be honest, regardless of how it happened it is a keeper for the cool factor, not for any potential premium value. It is especially cool since your daughter is the finder.
