I have a 1964 D nickel. Well worn . On the back you can see a circular rotation.any thoughts is appreciated.

If it's shiny, it is more than likely a coin counter / sorter mark. Picture will shed more light.

I have seen this on the reverse of another old nickel. I am pretty sure it is PMD, but that is just an educated guess.
