Here's one that is as yet unidentified and most likely the oldest coin I own: Ancient India punchmarked coin  :

@spuett, how big/heavy is the punchmarked coin? There was a series of ~9x9mm copper 1/4 karshapanas (1g or slightly under) made after the fall of the Maurya empire in 180 BC. Yours looks like it has the common caduceus symbol on the back, so if it is more like 14x14mm and over 2 grams, it could be the core of a contemporary counterfeit, c. 300-250 BC.

  While the coin itself is common, the rim design is rather unusual: some kind of circular cutouts with reeded surface? Is there any numismatix term for this kind of rim?
