For what it's worth,with the new pics it looks like staining and not a die clash. It looks like DDD.Wait for a pro though.

If the fields are level, then it is probably a stain. If it were a die issue, the would be raised or lowered.

That's what I've been saying Coop, it is raised and lowered. Tropicalbats hit the nail on the head! The pic you posted is exactly what it is. I see it now. What would this be called though? That's the only thing that makes since but it's not raised on the obverse, it's sunk in. Thanks to all you guys and sorry for the upside down pics, can anyone advize me on what to do next?

If it were damaged from another coin, the higher devices would be affected first. The images don't make it clear what is going on with your coin from what I can see. A full coin would be more assistance. But if the raised bust devices are not affected, maybe something spilled on one coin and transferred to your coin leaving a stain?
