A flawless version of the coin is worth about $21. Those are approximately the prices a dealer would charge. If the coin has been in circulation, it will be worth far less. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/28/2017 7:34 pm Unless it is a Cent struck on a dime. The thickness should be thinner. The devices may fall over/on the rim. nickelsearcher Moderator United States 15437 Posts	Posted 10/28/2017 7:38 pm to the CCF. By your description your 1943-D cent is an expected zinc plated example over a steel core. That's the expected example ... and you can confirm for yourself by using a magnet on the coin ... if attracted to the coin then you know for sure. To value of an authentic zinc plated 1943 cent highly depends upon grade .. and in order to help with that we need photographs from you.
