Counterfeit/Fake 1728 Russian Rouble?

This appears to look legit but I'm not sure of the different counterfeits of these particular pieces. Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

gxseries Pillar of the Community Australia 3831 Posts	Posted 10/26/2017 7:15 pm Early Russian silver coins especially rubles are known for having lamination. This seems to be consist to look like what a genuine coin is. That said, the patina seems to be odd (could be just taken in a funny angle / lighting source). There are undocumented varieties so I would not be surprised if this is one of them. I am not an expert so I do hope for all the best for you.
