spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 11/14/2017 12:39 am Pure acetone will not harm the coin (find it in the paint section at a hardware store/Wal-Mart) but it will remove any glue if present. Please do post results. I've seen a recent uptick in posts about these and am wondering if the fakes produced from the initial excitement are reaching general circulation. Either way it does look tampered with in some way. If it doesn't fall off then the only way to know for sure is to have it graded. Report this Post to the Staff
