That must suck, did you backup everything to a flash drive? Well, hopefully everything will work out for you.

Your computer obviously gets a lot of use. Probably wore it out! Come back as soon as you can.

I would recommend also investing in an external hard drive, set so your computer is backed-up automatically. I have a 4 TB hard drive that we purchased several years ago for under $100, and you can probably get them cheaper now.

This should be a warning sign for us all. I need to back my stuff up. Is their special hard drives for MAC's or are hard drives universal.

Least he was backed up, took some geeks a week to try to get my data retrieved, and then still didn't grab the music files, just pix and dos, a whopping 4gb. Good luck Coop, if any of us need to supply any of the recent stuff, a lot of us have it, and CCF has your posted stuff.
This is for all: if you are reusing a pic you've already uploaded, use the"My Previous Uploads" just below. Instead of adding the new image just cut/paste the previous. It takes up server space to keep multiple uses, one of these 290kb files add up quick. Can't scrub the old ones either.

Quote: Is their special hard drives for MAC's or are hard drives universal External HDs are USB devices. They work with anything that has a USB port. Internal drives...I don't know.

Good luck Coop, your topics will be missed until you are up and running again, like Crazub0 said, if there is any date needed and we can help with just say the word.

Mine died Friday night. If not for my wife, I don't know what I'd do. I imagine I lost all of my pictures, oh well.
