Picked this up today. Price paid and TPG grade in 48. Coin is heavily toned. I love it but realize it may not be everyone's cup of tea. The darker picture, I think, reflects better the actual color of the coin. Thoughts on grade and problems? Thanks!

Not my cup of tea. AU, but I wouldn't pay AU money for it.

55 but tough to know what it really looks like in hand. There are so many AU BHD out there that I'm very picky when I buy one. PCGS had a bad habit of overgrading these for years and NGC always seems to get all warm and fuzzy about original tone, even if that isn't supposed to influence technical grade.

I'm just too jaded from seeing so many AU examples. I really need one to lift me off the ground before they can get in to my pocket.

looks like an AU-50 to AU-55. Not the best eye appeal but I'd take it ;)

NGC had this at AU58. Will post pics when in hand. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Price for this one was $575 which made it easy to decide to scoop this. The dark toning probably affected the price. Awesome for me because I love the toning.
