Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if someone can help me out, I have a 1909 Canadian penny with a missing Bead not sure if it's an error or maybe a chip because it was with other coins. Here is the picture below.

Often seen and also in multiples with more than one bead not showing.

Could be a bit of grease filled in the die..

Could also be the result of PMD, look at the second N and second 9, both appear to be damaged.

with DBM... what convinced me was that the bead immediately above looks like part of it was sheared off...

Agree, just a coincidental well-placed hit.

I was going to say the same as SPP. The bead above seems to have had half (try to say that three times fast!) of the bead removed as well.

I have a few of these (different dates) with missing beads. They dont seem to be worth a premium of any sort.

Thanks everyine,. I heard the word primium in on another coin I posted ... I'm very new to this so I have no clue what that ment ... In my other forum some one said I had a Strike through error and it has a slight premium but low value ... What does the word premium mean for coins and what is the difference between premium and value ... Thanks again everyone for the great info and comments
