This is an unknown token, brass, 21 millimeters each side. the other side is identical.

The only guess I can make is that 1F means one franc, but there is nothing else identifiable to country or manufacturer on it.

Good point-I forgot to weigh it. But what units of weight, if so? I think that it is too light to have the weight of a silver 1 franc.

I don't have the item with me-it is at a LCS. So I will double check the other side. However, that numista reference unfortunately says nothing about the token except that it is French. So if anyone knows anything about the time period/ purpose, I would be much obliged.
