I'm totally stumped. I bought this out of a scrap bin thinking it was

https://www.NGCcoin.com/price-guide...duid-1516313

or this one (can't find an NGC link)

https://coins.ha.com/itm/spain/worl...1542-63276.s

But while similar to the first link in terms of Obverse, the mint mark tells me it's from Valencia and the bust type is also similar to the issues of that city, I believe I found a reference to it in a couple Spanish coin forums and this link is to a coin I believe to be of the same type, however that is where I hit a wall... Do we happen to have anyone who might know about this coin and it's history ( a value and grade would also be appreciated)!

Thanks in advance,
and sorry for the horrible pictures. they were compressed from 15 megabytes to 150 Kb...

It's either an incredibility rare, unknown variety or ...... a counterfeit. I can see that the portrait does not match the 1823V LL 4 reales so I'm guessing a counterfeit.

How much does it weigh?

It weighs 6.14 grams.

From further research here are a few links to other coins of the type, they are however quite short of information...

If anyone has the catalogues mentioned in the links, canon and calico, and could check the references or share their knowledge it would be much appreciated.

NGC's guide is just Krause book info. Krause for this era of Spain has always been a mess (wrong weights, confusing layout of the reales de plata vs. the amended reales de vellon system)... and the regional coinage adds another layer. They apparently have ignored this known type altogether.

Anyway, not bad for a scrap bin find. A couple sort-of comparables:

https://www.sixbid.com/browse.html?...&lot=2650624

The weight on yours is a tad higher than I'd expect... but there is a bit of fluctuation in weight/fineness during this period in Spain.
