I found this 2000 P Sacagawea dollar and as I ran it through the loupe noticed this anomaly. I am assuming RPM. What say ye experts? I have done EVERYTHING I know to orient the photos properly from my iPhone. I'm an old guy and obviously not tech savvy. I guess I need to go buy a digital camera. Help there as well please as to what I should do.
Did a little research and my coin isn't the only one with that exact same mintmark variation where the "P" looks doubled. It was from a post on another forum from 2013. The mintmark was absolutely identical as the one on my coin.
Well considering the mintmark is on the master hub, and that ALL of the working dies are eventually created from that master hub, if it WAS a doubled mintmark, it would be doubled on EVERY coin.
